Faximum Software currently supports (see table to left) all of
our products on SCO OpenServer and SCO UnixWare.
Consider the ELS product
if...
- you need to support users on character (i.e. dumb) terminals
or using terminal emulators
- you need to fax-enable applications on SCO Open Server or
Windows (using SCO OS5 as the fax server)
- you do not need the advanced capabilities of the other Faximum
products
Consider the PLUS product
if...
- you need to support users on character (i.e. dumb) terminals
or using terminal emulators
- you need to fax-enable applications on SCO Open Server
or Windows (using SCO OS5 as the fax server)
- you need to support more than one fax line
- you need advanced scheduling capabilities
- you need support for multiple cover sheets
- you need project accounting
- you do not need to support users on networked workstations

- you need to support more than one fax line
- you need to support users on UNIX or Windows workstations
using a native fax client

Messaging Server if...
- you need to support users on workstations and can take advantage
of an existing email infrastructure
- you do not need advanced scheduling or multiple cover sheet
capabilities

Messaging Gateway instead if...
- you have an existing fax server you wish to extend to support
email/fax and fax/email gateways
- you need the capabilities of the Faximum Messaging Server
with the advanced scheduling and multiple coversheet capabilities
of the Faximum Client/Server or PLUS products
