The Faximum Messaging Server will accept text messages (optionally with fax attachments*) for delivery by fax from any SMTP-compliant email program (Eudora for the Mac, MS Outlook for the Mac, etc.).

If, however, you wish to take full advantage of the power of the FMS product then please conside purchasing the SecureDesign Fax Client for MacOS.

This component with enable you to "print to fax" from your Mac apps and have the fax sent by the Faximum Messaging Server running on a UNIX or Linux box on your network.

Note that if all you need to fax from your Mac are text messages possibly with TIFF-F attachments then you do not need to use the SecureDesign Fax Client.

Note that the Faximum Messaging Server does not run on MacOS but it can accept fax requests sent using an email client or the SD Fax Client from MacOS systems.

You will need a supported UNIX or Linux server on your network to actually handle the sending and receiving of your faxes.

* by fax attachment we mean a MIME attached TIFF-F file.
