Sending a Fax

In addition, try the following:

• Supply an Alternate Fax Number.

  If you supply an alternate fax number, Faximum will use the alternate fax number if it cannot reach the primary fax number.

• Check the retry count.

  The FSA can specify how many times Faximum will retry the number, how many times it will switch between the primary and alternate numbers and the interval between retries. If the destination phone number was busy, it is possible the retry count was exceeded. Use the Class database to specify the retry limit.

• Check the resource files.

  Make sure the Faximum resource files exist and that they have the correct permissions.

• Check the modem.

  Make sure that connections on all fax modem cables and telephone lines are secure and that the fax modem is connected to the server system.
