Notification of Incoming Faxes
There are two basic ways that you can be notified when faxes arrive:
- If you have iconified the Fax Browser window then
you can receive visual notification.
The Fax Browser icon control shows a sheet in front of the normal Fax icon.
- If you are using incoming fax routing, you can instruct Faximum to
send you email when a fax arrives that meets the routing criteria.
Visual Notification
There are two ways to receive visual notification:
- If you have Access General Delivery permission, you receive visual notification
whenever a fax arrives in General Delivery. In this case you can display
the Browse Received Fax window and use the View Coversheet button
to see if the fax belongs to you. If the fax belongs to you use the Claim
Fax button to claim it.
If you are enabled as FSA you can use the Route Fax button
to route the fax to other users or to yourself.
- If the fax is routed to your inbox either by the FSA or if you are using
incoming fax routing, you receive visual notification.
