If Faximum won't start

Starting Faximum consists of:

Normally, when you invoke Faximum it and displays the graphical user interface (GUI). The GUI consists of the Faximum main windows (Composer, Browser, and Viewer) plus all the other windows and dialog boxes that Faximum can display.

If nothing happens when you invoke Faximum from a command line or select the Faximum control, try the following.

  1. Check your Faximum account
  2. Check for a server system specification
  3. Check the resource files
  4. Check the network using /etc/ping
  5. Check error messages
  6. Check the server processes
