The Alias Facility

The alias facility allows you to associate a name (an alias) with the destination information for an individual or group. Then when you send a fax to that individual or group, you simply type in the alias and Faximum will automatically fill in all of the destination information.

There are two types of alias:

• Individual aliases: individual destination keynames that are associated with one destination fax number.
• Group aliases: group destination keynames that are associated with a list of one or more individuals, and/or groups of individuals, each of whom is associated with one destination fax number.

To enable the alias facility in the Fax Composer window, choose Alias from the Options pulldown menu.
