Faximum uses the following print mechanisms:

You print received faxes using the Print with Setup choices on the Action pulldown menu of the Browse Received Fax window. This feature uses scripts that are defined in the directory /opt/FAXclient/printers. For more information, see Setting up Printer Scripts.
The Print buttons on the Account Log and System Log dialogs use the lp command. To adjust the spooler command options, change the fax.howToPrint resource. Either by changes the value in the applications default file for Faximum or by specifying a different value in your own X resources file.
The Print on Send Fax feature uses the lp command in conjunction with one of the Faximum utilities to convert the fax image into a print data stream (For PostScript printers see tiffps, for PCL printers see tiffhp). The FSA specifies the printer names and the lp command in the Printer Database.
Printing online help is done using the lp command, sending it PostScript output. The configuration file which specifies the lp command used by the help system is:
