First, each user of Faximum will have a directory called .fax in
his home directory.
Within that directory is an ASCII log file called log. Examining
the last few lines of this file can frequently provide information on
why the Faximum software is malfunctioning.
Second, there is a system log file for Faximum located in
/var/spool/fax/log. This also ought to be examined for information
that can assist in diagnosing the cause of problems.
