The account database contains the fax billing accounts. Each fax transmission is assigned an account name. This name may then be read from the Account Log. The Fax System Administrator is responsible for this database.
The FSA assigns each user the right to charge to one or more accounts. A user may use any account for which he has permission.
Each account entry consists of the following:
Up to 5 account fields are provided for each Account Name so that different account strings may be set up for different kinds of calls (local and long distance, for example).
These strings can be used in the Dialing Rules database to define dial strings. You represent the account fields in a dial string by putting a variable of $1 through $5 in the dial string. See Account String Example.
