The Faximum Databases and Logs

The Fax System Administrator (FSA) creates and maintains several fax database files. Access to these files is through the Browse Database window. To open the window:

1. Choose Admin from the menu bar of either the Compose Outgoing Fax window or the Browse Received Fax window.
2. If the System Log and Database entries in the menu are greyed out, then you are not in FSA mode. Toggle the Fax Administrator button to enter FSA mode.
3. Choose Database.

The default database provides a simple Fax environment. The FSA may modify the database to utilize features such as establishing security, creating dialing rules, etc.

In addition, the FSA monitors the fax server and phone lines.
